What data we process and why

• Account data (email, name if you use Google): to identify you, give you access and send sign-in links. Legal basis: performance of contract.
• Audio/video files and transcripts: to provide the transcription service. Legal basis: performance of contract. We never use your files or transcripts to train AI models.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe; we only store the amount, date and transaction ID. Legal basis: performance of contract and tax obligations.
• Technical data (hashed IP, daily usage of the free tool): to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Cookieless, aggregated web analytics (Plausible): to improve the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Retention

• Audio/video files: automatically deleted after 7 days.
• Transcripts: until you delete them or your account.
• Billing data: for the period required by tax law.

Processors

Railway (servers and database), Vercel (website), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), RunPod (GPU processing), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Google (optional sign-in). Some may process data outside the European Economic Area with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data by writing to [EMAIL DE CONTACTO]. You can delete your account and all your data from the dashboard at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
